Nate Richards President and CEO

Nate Richards is the President of Entrance Software. A Rice University alumnus, Nate has over ten years of experience building custom technology solutions tailored to risks faced by the Oil and Gas industry. Nate is an expert at connecting the field to the corner office with data, allowing clients to not let time or money slip through the cracks by making decisions based on the latest information, presented in a meaningful way.With projects ranging from business intelligence (ex: connecting departmental silos to garner flow of information beneficial to decision makers), to process automation (ex: p10, p50, p90 risk to profit look-back analyses), Entrance has greatly reduced the dangers inherent to doing profitable business in the oil and gas sector. Nate authored “Show Me the Metrics”, an Entrepreneur’s Organization article that speaks to the top 5 technology issues that can make or break business owners. He also wrote “Passion, People, Process – What Drives Your Business?”, which was featured on the Business Maker’s radio show addressing what top entrepreneurs need to know to run an efficient business.He understands the workings of the Oil and Gas industry – especially upstream and midstream enterprise firms and can speak to the problems that are costing those businesses time and money both today and in the trending future.

Chad Modad Director of Consulting

Chad brings over 20 years of experience from a multitude of diverse industries, such as: manned spaceflight, petrochemical, computer manufacturing, telecommunications, and most recently defense. For the majority of his most recent seven years at The Boeing Company, he spent his time as an enterprise-level software advisor and consultant to internal software development teams as well as customers from the four branches of the U.S. Armed Forces. Chad volunteers his time by serving on the board of the Foster Family YMCA and as a soccer coach; he is also a mentor within the FIRST Robotics organization mentoring high school and elementary school students to design, build and program competitive robots. In his free time he is an avid soccer player and runner. Chad graduated from the University of Houston, with a degree in Computer Science and minor in Math.
