The .NET Framework

Currently in version 3.0, the .NET Framework is Microsoft's vision for the future of application development for the Windows OS and Microsoft Application Stack. This platform forms the baseline of expertise for application development at Entrance. Read more about ASP.NET.

SQL

The widely-accepted standard, SQL is the way applications access data. Specifically, Microsoft SQL Server, which will release version 2008 this year, is the de facto standard in the mid-market. TransactSQL (TSQL) forms the baseline of expertise for data access at Entrance. Beyond TSQL, however, SSRS, SSIS and SSAS are all key SQL-related skill sets.

XML

Quickly becoming an international standard for application data interchange, very few platforms perform integration without the use of some XML-based component. A self-describing method of expressing structured data, XML (and XML-related technologies) forms the baseline of expertise for data serialization at Entrance.

XHTML/CSS/Javascript

The de facto standard for presentation on a web platform, XHTML/CSS provides the most powerful, expressive and clean way to lay out web-based GUIs. Javascript provides a method to enrich the user experience for the web delivery of applications. XHTML/CSS + Javascript form the baseline of expertise for web application presentation at Entrance.

Microsoft Office Integration

We have particular expertise in integrating with Microsoft Office programs. Whether this means importing data from your existing Excel spreadsheets and Access databases, or exporting cleanly formatted and "live" Excel spreadsheets and Word documents, we work with the same basic Office tools that you have used for years.

Web-based Applications

Web-based software is more scalable, easier to install, and easier to maintain than traditional desktop-based applications. We select the best platform for each application on a case-by-case basis, preferring a web interface for applications that will be used by a large, geographically diverse client base.

SharePoint

Microsoft Office SharePoint is an innovative technology that Entrance Software uses in developing SharePoint applications such as customer portals. SharePoint architecture simplifies collaboration in the work environment and provides quick and accurate access to business documentation.

Visual Studio

We develop custom software and custom databases using industry tools such as Microsoft Visual Studio, Microsoft C# and the .Net platform. By relying strictly on industry-standard tools and technologies we ensure that your application will always have the maximum amount of technical, developmental, and upgrade support.
