Your Responsibilities
Create user information solutions by developing, implementing, and maintaining SharePoint applications.
Analyze, design and develop SharePoint deployment, configuration and customization projects.
Develop and implement web parts and customization of SharePoint sites using Visual Studio and .NET technologies to supplement out-of-the-box functionality.
Develop applications using Visual Studio .NET and SharePoint Designer, including the design and implementation of custom web parts and other programs utilizing the SharePoint object model.
Design and implement custom workflows and reports in the SharePoint environment.
Work with Senior Software Consultants and Project Leads to define application objectives by analyzing user requirements and envisioning system features and functionality.
Design and develop user interfaces to Internet/intranet applications by setting expectations and feature priorities throughout development life cycle.
Design and conduct testing of the developed functionality.
Integrate applications by designing database architecture and server scripting; study and establish connectivity with network systems, search engines, and information servers.
Complete application development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities; contribute to team meetings; troubleshoot development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms.
Update job knowledge by researching new Internet/intranet technologies and software products, participate in educational opportunities, read professional publications, maintain personal networks and participate in professional organizations.
Enhance organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Your Qualifications
We are looking for people with development or consulting backgrounds, preferably in multiple disciplines, but with at least 2-3 years of SharePoint experience implementing and customizing MOSS 2007 and/or 2010.
Microsoft Office SharePoint solution design and configuration experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science or a closely related field
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate ideas clearly and simply to clients
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
Ability to learn quickly
Detail oriented
Strong organizational skills
Software development fundamentals (including object-oriented design, multi-layer design, debugging, etc.)

Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS)
Microsoft Office SharePoint development experience is not required but is a plus
Silverlight/WPF development experience is not required but is a plus
