Your Responsibilities
The Software Tester role works in tandem with development team by testing for the purposes of verification of proper functionality and validating that requirements have been met.

• Work with software development team to develop test plans, procedures, scripts and automated tests.
• Execute test plans for functionality and usability of the software throughout the development lifecycle.
• Maintain testing environment, including hardware and software.
• Thoroughly document the outcome of all testing activity and provide feedback on functionality and usability.
• Log all identified defects in JIRA, the company’s issue tracking system.
• Verify that issues and defects are properly corrected.
• Perform regression testing and impact analysis.

  
  

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering or similar technical field.
• Ability to work with developers, project managers and business analysts to ensure that quality testing is an integral part of every project.
• Experience with efforts on integrated teams and developing and implementing sound testing methodologies.
• Experience with defect tracking systems such as JIRA.
• Ability to work independently and intuitively.
• Familiarity with Microsoft .NET platform and tools.
